Lacamas Regional Park:

This 312-acre park has fishing, hiking, and recreational opportunities, with bass, bluegill, and perch in the waters of Round Lake.

There also are excellent bird-watching areas around the park, and the upland forests support a variety of wildlife, including deer, raccoons, beavers, coyotes, osprey, bald eagles, and many other birds.

The park has numerous opportunities for photographers, especially when the Camas Lilies are in bloom in mid-April. An additional area of interest is the series of rock formations located in the potholes, near the falls.

The park contains a network of scenic hiking trails that connects to the Lacamas Heritage Trail along the south shore of Lacamas Lake.

Learn about the recent evaluation of the trail system in Lacamas Regional Park and efforts to marshal volunteers to help improve and maintain the park’s trails.

Gorge National Scenic Area:

The Columbia River Gorge is a spectacular river canyon, 80 miles long and up to 4,000 feet deep, that meanders past cliffs, spires, and ridges set against nearby peaks of the PNW’s Cascade Mountain Range.
